Maureen Tuttle (above) and Mary Killpack are in charge of our service project this year. We met in February for our annual service day. We made receiving blankets and burp cloths for the Women, Infant and Children's program, pillowcases for the Food and Care Coalition and Women and Children in Crisis Center, and Quilts of Valor pillowcases/presentation bags for the quilts for injured military men and women. It was a wonderful day of working together and visiting and eating. Thank you to all who participated. Please check your Patchwords for ongoing needs and service opportunities.
These darling charms were a gift to those who helped.
Kristine Palmer is in charge of the quilter's challenge project this year. One of the projects she has chosen is "Quilts of Valor." This is a presentation bag for a quilt that will be given to a injured military man or woman. Thanks to those who are working to support this project!
