March 2013 == Nathional Teacher Month featuring David Taylor

On March 20, 2013,  David Taylor, National Quilt Teacher and Graphic Designer presented at the monthly forum and general meeting.  At the forum David taught us all about Adobe Designer and Photoshop.  He is very funny, engaging, entertaining, knowledgeable, with a creative imagination that makes learning very exciting.  At the general meeting David presented a trunk show that highlighted his abilities and skills.  His talents go beyond words!!

Then on March 21 he taught an all day class/workshop at the Spanish Fork Fairgrounds High Chaparral room.  Those who attended were very excited to learn from this very talented and fun teacher.

Did you see Kathy Porter's completed Block of the Month Astral project.  It is beautiful and we can do the same quilt.  Just think-- you can do one too.  Every month in the Patchwords and at monthly Guild meeting she provides a copy of the pattern and directions.  If we all did one we could all have a "Quilt of Valor" for our returning service members!!
