November meeting part two


We have 6 new members this month. Pictured above is Debra Thacker. Also joining us are Kay Johnson, Peggy Peterson, Wendy Jones, Debra Shelley, and Lorinda Loveridge



This year Wanda Sump entertained us with her mystery mini quilt. Suzanne Hillestad, Joanne Sitos, Jodie Banks, Merlene Crapo, Maureen Tuttle , Barbara Murdock and Wanda Sump show off they finished cute quilts.




 Bonnie Miles gave a demonstrative and lecture about how to put together orphan blocks to make fun sampler quilts. As always Bonnie had lots of great ideas.


Show and Tell

 First was Debbie Naylor who showed a Thanksgiving quilt called Crabapple.



Second was Lynnette Rose whose quilt was called Candy Kisses for Sadie. Lynnette appliqued and quilted her piece and she is donating it to Festival of Trees in the memory of her granddaughter, Sadie.




 Next was Maureen Tuttle who showed three pieces. One was a wedding picnic quilt made for her nephew and his new wife. Also made by Mary Killpack-Girls Pinterest Day. Then she showed a mystery beach wall hanging from the 2015 quilt retreat. Finally she made a Festival of Trees snowball quilt from fabric donated by Riley Blake.




Fourth up was Francine Berrett who showed her version of a Trip Around the World quilt made in red, green, gold, turquoise and brown.

  Sisters Ina Tedrow and Cleo Cox show their wonderful red and white quilts they made together,





Up sixth was Margaret Gray showing her Seminole Sampler quilt. At a 2013 quilt camp she took the Seminole piecing class ad this quilt was the result. She is giving it to her son who helped with the fabric selection.



Our seventh presenter was Machelle Preston who showed a tractor quilt, a once upon a fairy tale quilt, and a princess quilt.
