Thanks to Annette Crain, Karlene Riggs and Cheryl Pfeifer for organizing our efforts.
Thank you to all who participated!
This year, we will be donating quilts and receiving blankets  to the 5 Utah County Hospitals.

Block of the Month 2009 "Lincoln Bicentennial Quilt"

To commemorate the 200th birthday of Abraham Lincoln Liz Laney has decided to do a "Lincoln Quilt" for our Block of the Month.
Here is a picture of Iva Mae showing some of Liz's finished log cabin blocks.
You can make one too!
Consult your Patchwords for patterns and inspiration.
On a side note, the resemblance between Liz and Iva is uncanny.

January Hospitality Table

January's Hospitality Table, titled "Quilter's Memories" featured our current
Utah Valley Quilt Guild President, Ella Simmons.

Behind Ella is a quilt showcasing her husbands running T-shirts and another quilt highlighting her hope projects in Peru.  She also brought a 2002 Olympic quilt with her collection of pins.  Thanks for sharing your quilted memories, Ella.
