October Main Stage

For October, we had Laurie Price come from Broadbent's, she is an amazing creative, talented lady! She loves Halloween, as you can tell from her outfit, she was perfect for October!

She taught us about coloring on quilts and embroidery and even let us try it out on the fun samples she provided.  She also showed lots of beautiful embroidery:

October - Festival Of Trees Donations

October Hospitality

For the Hospitality Area, we had the Knotts Bee bring their round robin quilts:

For the Round Robin,  each quilter brought a center section and passed it around each month to all 5 or 6 other people in her group.  It was really fun to see what each member added to each quilt every month.
They also displayed another group effort - Row Quilts - Same idea, only each person added a row each month:

October Forum

We were privileged to have Vonda Proctor come and talk to us and teach us about "Strips and Scripts". Vonda does a great job putting words and sayings on her quilts.

She brought some beautiful quilts to show us:

We were privileged to have Kim Walus from Alpine, Utah be our speaker for August.

Kim is an amazingly prolific and creative quilter! She is a frequent contributor to the Moda Bake Shop blog (modabakeshop.com).
