“A Child’s Treasure” by Amanda Johnson – This tan and dusty teal quilt was from “I Done My Best”. Amanda started it before her son, Jaxon was born and finished it one month past his second birthday. 5 darling embroidered blocks surrounded by blocks and hand quilted. It is only Amanda’s 2nd pieced quilt and she said it’s a little bumpy around the edges – but her son loves to drive his cars on the bumps. She said it should really be called “A Labor of Love”
“Mariner’s Compass Sampler” by Jacque Thompson – Jacque had fabric leftover and made this gorgeous companion quilt that matches the quilt above. She made the center compass, and then surrounded it with 32 different blocks – Wow!
