Service Project Update

Annette Crain, Karlene Riggs and Cheryl Pfeifer (Service Project Chairs) 

report that as of March 19th 181 quilts and blankets had been collected to be distributed to area hospitals.  

Thank you to all who contributed to this great effort.

March Hospitality Table

Blyth Larrabee was our featured quilter for our 

March Hospitality Table.  

Her garden themed table featured several quilts from

  Piece O' Cake Designs.  

 Linda was so happy to see Blyth's efforts.

March Meeting- National Teacher, Linda Jenkins from Piece O' Cake Designs

Linda Jenkins from Piece O' Cake designs joined us for our monthly meeting.  She presented two wonderful lectures in the morning on color and tips for machine quilting.  In the afternoon she presented a trunk show featuring over 50 quilts.  Linda is known for her beautiful applique designs and also designs fabric for P and B textiles.  It was fun to hear about the history of Piece O' Cake and thrilling to see all of her amazing quilts.

Helen's Quilt Armoire

This is Helen's beautiful armoire of quilts 

that she talked about at our January meeting.  

I was curious to see just what it looked like and how her quilts were arranged so I asked if she would take some pictures for our blog.
